In 1996, NY Stars QB Damien Oleary threw for 11 TD passes in a single game, setting a record in the process. Today, Houston QB Dale Baber tied that with 11 TD passes against the Baltimore Stars. Baber did it on only 31 passes, completing all but 1, and amassing 752 yards which is 6th most all time.
I'm in the process of checking completion % and 30/31 is tied for 2nd best among non 100% passers behind Southern California QB John Berrios, who completed 31/32 in 2004. Edgar Jones of Shreveport was 30/31 back in a 1981 game.
I see a few 100% passers with good attempt numbers, like a 17/17 game, 19/19 and even a 23/23 by the aforementioned Edgar Jones.
Congratulations to Dale Baber, and to think CJ considered keeping Miller in at QB. Safe to say he's glad he didn't.
