The New Orleans VooDoo defended their Championship with a 16-0 regular season this year. It's the 6th time in league history a team completed a regular season 16-0.
The 1977 Detroit Wheels were the first to do it and they finished it off with a World Bowl title and a 19-0 season.

The 1994 Baltimore Stars finished 16-0, winning the Atlantic over 14-2 Washington whose only 2 losses were to Baltimore. As fate would have it, they played a 3rd time in the playoffs with the Federals getting revenge, knocking out the Stars and ending their season.
The 2001 Oklahoma Outlaws became the 3rd 19-0 Champion as they finished their perfect season winning World Bowl XXVIII.
The 2007 Pittsburgh Maulers finished 16-0 and needed OT to get by Birmingham in the Divisional Round before hoisting the trophy at the end of World Bowl XXXIV.
The 2009 New Orleans VooDoo finished 16-0 and we'll soon find out if they will have the 5th 19-0 season in league history or if they end up like the 1994 Baltimore Stars.
