This time it happened to UKRAIN and I know it's happened to amalric a couple times as well. For some reason they got booted from the league, idk if it's an MFN failure or a fat finger hitting the wrong button problem but my guess it's a problem in the coding somewhere.
Why do I think that? When people actually quit and mean it, their username appears in the sign up block list because it's supposed to be a 30 day wait. I can physically remove names from that list at any time but in amalric's cases from the past and UKRAIN's issues today, their names did not show up on said list. Neither did the new guy that ran Michigan before Claymore took over.
When I saw Charlotte was without an owner yesterday, I almost reached out to UKRAIN by PM when I didn't see his name on sign up block but didn't because I noticed he had not owned his team in NFL League this season and he owned that team for awhile too. BTW UKRAIN, if you're reading this, your team there is still without an owner if you want that team back.
In the end this situation worked out as UKRAIN asked for his team back and he got it since it hasn't been filled yet.
EVERYONE: If you should ever find yourself not owning your team in USFL and you didn't quit, please please send me a PM. If I were to actually boot someone again it won't come as a surprise, it will have been preceded by an argument or conflict of some kind. So if it is a surprise, most likely some error happened and you got booted for nothing.
My preference is people keep their teams and the sooner I know you didn't intend to leave, the sooner and more likely it is you'll get your team back before someone else asks for it.
