MID-SEASON REPORTWe have reached the midway point of the 32nd season of the USFL so let's take a look all the division races along with some standouts players.
AMERICAN CONFERENCEPacific DivisionThe Hawaiians have jumped out to a 2 game lead over the Sabercats including winning their first head to head matchup at home in week 1. The Hawaiians started 6-0 before finally losing in week 7 to the Division rival Express. The Hawaiians have gone 2-0 versus teams with winning records and have 5 games remaining versus teams with winning records including the rematch with the Sabercats in week 13. The Sabercats started 2-2 before winning 3 of their past 4 games. The Sabercats went 0-3 versus teams with winning records and they have 4 games left versus teams with winning records.

West DivisionPortland has run away with the West and have a 4 game lead over Oakland including being 3-0 in Division which includes a win over Oakland. They have gone 2-1 versus teams with winning records and have just 2 games remaining versus teams with winning records. Oakland has gone 0-3 versus teams with winning records and have 3 games remaining versus teams with winning records.

Southwest DivisionHouston has a 1 game lead over Oklahoma and 3 game lead over Memphis & San Antonio. The Southwest is the only division where all 4 teams don't have a losing record. Houston & Oklahoma split their season seasons which happened by week 3. Houston went 3-1 versus teams with winning records and has just 2 game left versus teams with winning records. Oklahoma has gone 2-1 versus teams with winning records and they have just 2 remaining. Memphis started strong at 4-1 but lost 3 straight all versus teams with winning records and are 0-3 total versus teams with winning records. Memphis has 4 games left versus teams with winning records. San Antonio hasn't won or lost more then 2 in a row and have gone 0-2 versus teams with winning records. San Antonio has an incredible 7 games remaining versus teams with winning records.

Midwest DivisionChicago has a 1 game lead over Michigan plus has a victory of them in week 7 in a super close game 7-6. Michigan has gone 0-2 versus teams with winning records including the head to head with Chicago. Michigan has 4 games left versus winning teams including a week 16 rematch with Chicago which could decide the division.

Jacksonville went 0-4 versus winning teams but has just 1 remaining versus the team they need to catch.

Birmingham has gone 0-3 versus teams with winning records and has just 2 left but that includes a week 9 rematch with New Orleans which is essentially a most win if Birmingham has any chance to win the division. Georgia has gone 1-3 versus teams with winning records and has 3 such games remaining. Shreveport is winless including going 0-5 versus teams with winning records (League Most). Shreveport thankfully has just 1 game left versus a team with a winning record.

Atlantic DivisionPittsburgh is perfect through 8 games thanks in part to playing zero teams with a winning record (League Least). They will be tested in the 2nd half as they play 5 teams with winning records including 2 games versus Baltimore who sits 2 games back in the division. Baltimore went 1-2 versus teams with winning records and has 3 remaining including the 2 with Pittsburgh. Washington is 4 games behind Pittsburgh so a Wildcard seems more likely and they went 1-4 versus teams with winning records. Washington has 3 games left versus winning teams including a rematch with Pittsburgh. Charlotte went 0-5 versus teams with winning records (League Most) and has 3 more in the 2nd half.

New Jersey has probably abandoned hope of winning the division but they have made the postseason in 13 straight seasons so they can focus of the Wildcard. In 31 previous season, New Jersey has made the postseason in 27 of them. Jersey went 0-2 versus teams with winning records and has 3 such games remaining. Boston went 0-3 versus winning teams and has 4 more games versus winning teams. New York started 0-4, all versus teams with winning records and went 0-5 total in the first half (League Most). New York has 3 more games versus teams with winning records.
