American Conference1) Oklahoma Outlaws Oklahoma had a dominant regular season and look to become the 3rd team to complete a perfect season with a championship.
2) Portland Storm Portland started 3-2 but won all but one of their remaining games, losing to defending champion San Jose. Guess who their playoff opponent is?
3) Los Angeles Express They win the Pacific division and get to host Memphis in the Wildcard round.
4) Michigan Panthers They win the Midwest and get to host always tough Houston. Yay!
5) Houston Gamblers Get a wildcard spot, but had 5 losses this season. Always a threat to win and advance but their worst record as a champion was 12-4 so it won't be easy.
6) Memphis Showboats A wildcard team in a very tough division. Private Snowflake won the first 2 Memphis championships back in 1979 and 1980, then returned after a decade absence. One of those championships came after a 10-6 regular season, can he do it again?
7) San Jose SaberCats The defending champs had a "down" regular season but they qualified for the playoffs and we all know how dangerous Smirt can be. The SaberCats will have to be road warriors to get back to the World Bowl and defend their title.

National Conference1) New Orleans VooDoo The VooDoo may not have a perfect record but nobody can touch them in total points scored. They led the league with 589 points with second place scoring 431, a difference of almost 10 points a game. They lost in last year's World Bowl so they are looking to finish the job this year.
2) Pittsburgh Maulers Pittsburgh was a combined 1-31 the last 2 seasons before this year's dramatic turn around. I don't know how far they can go this season but I think they will be a contender for the forseeable future.
3) Orlando Renegades Speaking of contenders, that's Orlando. They are looking to get back to the World Bowl and perhaps win it after almost upsetting Houston in World Bowl XXVI.
4) Philadelphia Bell Lemon guided the Bell to the franchise's first ever East division title and their first post season appearance since 1994. Can he lead them to their first World Bowl???
5) New Jersey Generals The Generals are always dangerous in the playoffs but they finished 2-5 this season against other playoff teams. Probably not the year to make their 10th World Bowl.
6) Jacksonville Bulls Beercloud has the Bulls in the playoffs for the 4th straight year but they were one and done the previous 3. If they are going to win and advance, they have to beat the Renegades who swept them this season.
7) Shreveport Steamer The Steamer had won 6 consecutive South division titles before New Orleans broke that streak last season, and Shreveport stayed home for the playoffs. They're back this year but are riding a 2 game losing streak and have to face a rebuilt, tough Pittsburgh team.
