Home Field Advantage Standings Glitch

I already sent Ioanblood a PM about this but the Generals have not clinched home field despite what MFN shows. If New Jersey loses Week 16, they'll be 12-4 with a 9-3 conference record. If Orlando wins they'll be 12-4 with a 10-2 conference record. New Jersey and Orlando did not play so Renegades would win the tiebreaker.

A 3 way tie with Shreveport also at 12-4 wouldn't affect anything.

You scored more points. Despite what it should go by, I think it goes by points. Very disappointing.

I hope that's not true. I know net points is in there somewhere for MFN tiebreakers ahead of common opponents, but if points is the top tiebreaker, that's beyond stupid imo.

If Orlando wins and the Generals lose then Orlando gets tge bye based on Conference records. Points come after Conference record for tiebreakers

That's what I thought but you never can tell with JDB.

Pretty sure this is incorrect in examples of 3-way ties. If it's head-to-head, you might be right. I rarely pay attention to it.

I've been doing playoff breakdowns for years now and JDB sorta uses the NFL Tiebreakers. With 3 teams tied (all in separate divisions) he uses the following tiebreaker

Breaking a tie between three or more teams

1. Apply division tiebreaker to eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2.

2. Head-to-head sweep

3. Best win percentage in games played within the conference.

4. Best win percentage in common games, minimum of four.

5. Net points

A 2 way tie or 3 way tie does not matter. If Shreveport is thrown into the mix and New Jersey, Orlando, and the Steamer all end up 12-4, Orlando's better conference record wins. Then New Jersey would be #2 based on a win over Shreveport.
