Training Camp

Well, we took a good hit after moving up and then trading our 100 rated SS. Oh boy.

#5 Eric Krenbiel QB 1/-8 29/50. A 4th round long shot. Didn't win this gamble

#83 Michael Popa WR 7/-2 50/94. 3rd overall player taken. Still a winner but slight bust

#73 Michael Mitchell LT 4/5 30/52. 7th rd pick. Looking for a development boomer.

#91 Douglas Mullins DT 2/4 37/57. 5th rd. Decent attributes should be good depth

#40 William Lynn SS 0/-15 31/52. 2nd rd. This will hurt. Hoping he would fill the spot after the trade. Ouch.

It was a disappointing training camp. 3rd round choice is a special teamer at best if he doesn't get cut

Of the 10 first-round picks who had 65-plus VOL, only two busted. Houston's DB is still a 70 potential by default weights, so Booger only took a dent. But poor Detroit, ouch:

#55 Marshall Yingling - LG
Team: Wheels
Trade Score: 170
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 320 (4% above average)
Age: 22
Experience: R
Your Rating: 39/64
Default Rating: 37/60
From Start: +1/-15
This Season: +1/-15
College: Missouri
Draft: 1975 Detroit Wheels (1.24)
Retire Prob: < 1%

I was able to take a screenshot like Otterpop but I'm computer stupid and don't know how to get it to display in this forum. Right now it's saved in my files.

Despite that I had a pretty good camp.

#14 Kevin Harvick RB R 8/4
#19 Tiger Woods WR R 8/5
#56 Chris Moneymaker LG R 15/9
#64 Jimmy Hoffa LG R 5/5
#94 Tony Perez DT R 3/3
#97 Rod Serling SLB R 8/-2
#32 Daniel Tosh CB R 6/2

It seems that for my team, this training camp did just as much bad as it did good.
I think the biggest bust for me at least was my second round pick.

FB Kyle Guarino
+5/-23
29/44

I don't know if he's even going to make the team at this point. His volatility was really high, but this is still probably the worst bust of all time I ever experienced.

Interesting. His volatility was a 96, so I guess a huge drop is possible, but minus-23 is pretty incredible. At least he is a fullback, so this doesn't have a huge overall impact on your squad.

#25 Michael Fall FB R 11/-18

#71 Mark Lucia LG R 9/-1

#99 Timothy McDonagh DT R 7/0

#91 Jeffrey Head RDE R 3/0

#51 Courtney Bartley SLB R 8/-8

#40 Victor Benedict SS R 14/-7

Top two picks.....+22/-15.....overall +52/-34

This draft was just bad all the way around.

I ended up with a very good end and a solid corner and the rest are dead cap.
