Week 16 Playoff Scenarios

I'm about to go to bed so I'll do the American Conference tomorrow after I wake up. The National Conference is all set other than seeding. Jacksonville was officially eliminated with New York's win as the Bulls can only tie Orlando and the Renegades swept the Bulls. Orlando is currently the #6 seed but can be #5 with a win and a New York loss. The Stars are currently #5, but should they lose and tie with Orlando at 11-5, they would lose whichever tiebreaker is next after head to head. NFL uses conference record, not sure if MFN follows suit, but Orlando wins that. The Renegades win common opponents too, so their week 16 games sort of matter.

There is no strategic advantage as nobody knows which team will be #3 or 4. Shreveport is currently #3, but if they lose and Washington wins, the Federals get the #3 seed thanks to a regular season win over the Steamer.

National Conference Playoff Field

First Round BYES: New Jersey (home field advantage), Florida

Division Winners: Shreveport, Washington

Wildcards: New York, Orlando

The American Conference is a mess and I can't figure it out because some tiebreakers go pretty deep and I'm unsure which steps to use.

I also can not confirm Memphis is eliminated, which is why I can't figure anything else out. Any tiebreaker scenario has to resolve division ties first and I can't resolve a Memphis/Oklahoma tie at 10-6. Should the Outlaws lose and Showboats win, they will both be 10-6, having split their 2 regular season meetings, have the same record among common opponents and the same conference record.

What's next? In the NFL it's strength of victory then strength of schedule, but in MFN I think it's net points., which would mean Memphis is still alive.

Every other tiebreaker comes down to common games except Chicago/Detroit. Chicago wins the tiebreaker over Detroit on better division record.
