Training camp

Camp wasn't spectacular for the Gamblers but with just 4 picks this season (+3,0,0,-6) all four will clearly make the team, 2 as starters and 2 as decent backups.

MLB +9/+3 50/81 starter
K +8/0 54/98 starter
RDE 11/0 41/71 depth
SS 0/-6 48/72 depth

Have and seen way worse, I will take it.

Side note.

The must debated QB Henderson ended up +16/0 and should be an elite QB almost right from the start of his career as his pass accuracy starts at 71/100. His 78 vol didn't hurt him as he has 87 intelligence, 89 arm strength, 100 look off defense and 52/100 field of vision.

Howard who was selected ahead of him because of his 26 vol actually went +2/-1. He has a big arm and 99 pass accuracy but leveled out with 61 intelligence, 35/52 look off def and 18/66 field of vision.

People who was drafted 1st among QBs went +3/-3 with his 58 vol and ended up with 87 intelligence, 92 pass accuracy, 99 arm strength, 17/55 look off def and 72 field of vision.

It will interesting to watch how these 3 perform over the next 1,3,5 to 10 seasons.

good camp in San Jose, btw the OL coach will get a raise. Everybody but my first 2 pics improved, my top pic Trevathan will gain a few points when he loses weight and will bring much needed speed to the LB corps

Even though I was disappointed I couldn’t trade back up in RD 1 for Henderson I’m quite happy my 2 QBs boomed. 2nd RD Lawson plus 14/2 and 3rd RD Martinez plus 7/6

Generals had a volatile draft, with some wild swings in ratings.

LB Reno Raines was our 1st round pick that Seth was hoping would fall to him. He is named for the Lorenzo Lamas character from the 1992 TV show Renegade. He will be the leader of our defense for the future.

CB Jay Leno was the 2nd round pick and he had a slight boom. His version of The Tonight Show began in 1992.

WR Bill Clinton was our 3rd round pick and he lost 4 points. He'll probably stick around 4 years but he doesn't look like he'll get a 2nd contract from us. He was obviously named for the President, who was elected in 1992.

RT Sam Kinison was our 4th round pick and was named for the comedian who died in a car accident in 1992. Kinison boomed huge, gaining 13 points. He has average strength but he should end up being an excellent blocker, which is good considering a 15 year vet is currently our RT1.

LB Isaac Asimov was a 249 lb DE coming out of college, but he didn't have much speed to begin with, so instead of asking him to gain weight, we will play him at LB. 5th round picks are often gambles and Asimov paid off, gaining 12 points in ratings. He is named for the science fiction author who passed away in 1992.

FB Benny Hill was named for the British comedian who died in 1992. His career in MFN dies in 1992 as well, as his 21 point drop renders him absolutely useless. He was a 6th round pick so cutting him won't hurt and you can't win all the volatility rolls.

CB Garth Algar was our 7th round pick, and while he boomed 7 points, I'm not sure if he'll stick around. Algar is weak in coverage despite the boom and his skill set leans more toward a LB or DE. Problem moving him there is his 188 lb frame, he's too small. He was named for the character from Wayne's World which hit theaters in 1992.

Michigan has stability under center for years to come with QB Henderson.

Some much needed speed in WR Tingle and CB Sparling did well in camp.

Our 1st pick will be a stopgap on the line until someone else is brought in, a little disappointed in his regression

Washington bolsters stingy secondary with #1 overall pick & 28th pick in the 2nd Rd. Management also ecstatic about developing their next All - Pro Kicker.

The Federals look to be in good shape heading into Pre-season.

I thought hard about taking him and congrats to you. Unless something weird happens, he should have a great career.

Not too bad for me.
The best thing is my first rounder didn't bust, and I saw a nice improvement for a 3rd round LB.

1.11 SS F Young 0
3.5 LG H Brown +3
3.11 SLB H Foster -4
3.24 WLB K Jones +12
4.10 P R Clark -4
5.11 QB T Carreras -6
6.10 RDE K Holloway -8
7.11 LDE G Walker -2
