My annual push for Tony Dean as M.V.P.

Bruno Wilson led the league in passing yards and passing TDs

5,479 and 51

While Tony Dean finished 2nd in both

5,327 and 48

So here's the thing, Wilson had 152 more yards passing and 3 more passing TDs while throwing the ball 219 more times so his completion percentage was 60.2 as compared to Dean's 72.0 and Wilson's yards per attempt was 6.96 while Dean's was 9.38.

He had 3 more TDs but also had 24 more interceptions.

Bruno Wilson 51/32
Tony Dean 48/8

To be fair, David Allen should recieve consideration as he had 135 less attempts then Dean's and had a similar 71.6 completion percentage while having a 10.36 yards per attempt.

WILSON 474/787 (60.2%) 5,479 51/32 QBR 85.94

DEAN 409/568 (72.0%) 5,327 48/8 QBR 123.47

ALLEN 310/433 (71.6%) 4,484 48/9 QBR 133.19

Denver's Andrew Brewer only tossed 36 TD passes but also threw just 3 INTs.

I looked at him but he threw for under 4000 yards which is 500-1000 less then the other 3 QBs and 36 TD passes is 12-15 less then the other 3 QBs but he had a super efficient season.

To me its

1A. TONY DEAN
1B. DAVID ALLEN
3. BRUNO WILSON

but then again I'm bias...it should come down to ALLEN and DEAN

Bruno Wilson shouldn't be MVP. Dorey got it last season, right? That's good enough for me in a league as talented and deep as this with GM talent. Home boy doesn't deserve it with the INTs. The game shifts; in a previous era of the game I could spit out 40+ touchdown, 3 INT outputs but you gotta play to where the wind/game blows.

I wouldn't type a single word advocating for an MVP candidacy for a QB who threw that many interceptions.

Wow, surprised CJ's boy Dean hasn't won MVP since 1986.
