I will add these bios, plus a few lines about each player's career over the next few days to the HOF section of the blog. I will provide the link when I'm finished.
This year's inductees:
Mario Valencia QB Detroit Wheels John Murray RB Pittsburgh Maulers Cory Robinzine WR Arizona Wranglers Charles Bukowski RT Boston Breakers Leroy Selmon TE New Jersey Generals
I'm really shocked to see Charles Bukowski make it as he only played for 5 seasons. That's like saying Jake Long should be a Hall of Famer because he was great for 4 years until injuries shortened his career.

QB Augustin Crook made it in despite only 4 seasons and got 28 of 30 votes during the initial HOF vote.

I can address that. Because the players in the allocation draft were "pre-aged," they had no opportunity for a longer career. That doesn't mean they weren't among the best players in the history of the USFL. Bukowski and Crook certainly were. If Crook had been drafted as a rookie and played 10-to-12 seasons, he would have set passing records that might never be broken.
The short career doesn't bother me, but I'm amused by the intellect of no small number of owners who would enshrine an OL without giving regard to an elite defensive player.
Brent Sylvain, FS, Honolulu 11 seasons (1974-84) 686 tackles, 32 INT, 37.5 catch allowed All-Pro: 1983 Only player in league history to allow less than 40 percent catch with more than 500 passes thrown at him.
I'm glad Cory Robinzine WR made it in. I purposely avoided touting for him when I was advocating for more to get in because it'd make my argument look poor. lol
