Panthers had 5 rookies last year.

1st round pick Timothy Hunziker https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/player/5559
He ran as my 3rd CB the whole season.
Notable stats, 15 missed tackles, decent 40% catch allowed. 0 INT's

2nd round pick Charles Ahumada https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/player/5865
Started 9 games at RB. 769 yds rushing, 519 yds recieving. Looking forward to a full season.

3rd round pick LT Solomon Waguespack https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/player/5658
Started 13 games. 703 pass blocks, only 3 sacks allowed.

My last two picks were insignificant.

The Storm didn't pick until round 3 but found great value. Overalls by default except Harris.

Kevin Harris C 76/86 +13/+6 3-7 Harris blossomed into a strong lineman and all star road grader but the storms passion is through the air and his 75 pass block didn't fit. This off-season he was traded with two other third round selections for the 10th pick of the 83 draft which was used to select the player the Storm considered the best in the draft.

Bryan Meyers RB 45/65 +12/-13 3-17 A major disappointment he was cut soon after his drop was noted. He averaged a paltry 1.4 yards per carry with the Voodoo.

Richard Ramirez CB 67/79 +19/+12 4-16 Ramirez was buried behind the Storms all star group of CBs checking in at number 4 on the depth chart. His talent however was undeniable and ensured the Storms future at the position is bright snaring 2 picks and allowing just a 36.8% completion percentage.

Robert Turner RG 66/75 +18/+11 4-20. Something of a shocker Turner took the reigns as the starting right guard of a line that featured 3 all-pros and didn't disappoint. He played 803 pass blocks and 463 run blocks allowing just 3 sacks, 20 tackles, and 5 penalties.

Guillermo Rosa's CB 57/70 +17/+9 4-30 Rosa's was buried even further on the CB depth chart but made himself uncuttable. He didn't see much field time, just 72 plays but still managed a pick and as many knockdowns as catches (3) en route to only 30% catches allowed.

Andres Beach RDE 45/54 +5/-9 5-18 cut

Tyson Patillo OL 55/70 +12/+8 6-17 why the OL label? Because he backs up every spot but C. He had a solid season in that role too. 101 plays 0 sacks and 0 penalties.

Timothy Harmon WR 45/66 +10/+7 7-16 Harmon managed to make the last roster spot though he was in the end not needed. A speedster with 90 speed is ready if called upon but for now resides on the trade block with an 84 score.

All in all a great haul for the storm especially considering all picks were round 3 and later on a deep team.

Knobb Creek, 1.30 +12/+0 default 39/72 - 54rec, 520yards, 10drp, 55.1% 2tds

Drafted at RB and moved to WR3 for one season. Moving back to RB to add speed to the group. We're expecting big things this year from Creek.

Whiskey Water, 2.6 +19/+1 default 67/69 - 913plays, 73tackles, 3penalties, 3missT, 18knkdn, 1int, 50%alwd

Selected with the intent to move into cb1 he spent most of his rookie year at cb3. He progressed into the player we thought he would be. Water will be with us for a long time.

Otis Bonilla, 5.30 +8/+3 default 41/71 - 324plays, 107rnblck,12tklAllowed, 3sckAllowed

Drafted in the 5th for depth, Otis may see time as a starter at some point in his career. He can play anywhere on the line outside of center and once his run block develops, he has the size, strength and speed to take a starting job either with us or with another franchise.

Rounds 6 and 7 didn't bust but will probably only have one contract with the Baltimore Stars.

Here was the 1982 first round. Franks' potential has dropped from 74 on draft day to 63 today (my weights). But he did have one great year.

I'm pleased with my rookie class, especially with no picks until round 3. Magic Johnson was pretty good splitting carries with Rudi. I was hoping for a little more from Clark and Worthy, but I found 2 future starting OL in Baker and Berryhill. Those 6th round picks aren't always a waste, I try to look at them like lottery tickets.

I can’t complain for 2 late first rd picks. CB Chris Smith 83 tackles 51% catch and 3 INT

LDE Eric Rodríguez. 5 sacks. 6 hurries and 1 INT.
