You guys did not run this through the trade committee first, which is how we do things in this league. We will review this trade, but you will have to reverse it if it gets a thumbs down. The trade procedure has been a stickied post for weeks.

Is there a way to prevent this such as disabling the trade button? This is my only league that handles trades this way and I could see myself getting an offer and accepting before I realize I shouldn't have done that.

No, they don't give me that option. I think, for a first year league, we can let folks off with a warning the first time.
