They say you win with defense, and New Jersey quite literally won with defense as the Generals edged Detroit, 26-24, on a safety in OT to claim their first World Bowl win.

Great write up for a great game but Roy Sullivan feels slighted. He also had a sack but the story says Lockette had "both" sacks. Sullivan forgot about it after I handed him the trophy and his fat bonus check.

For myself, I'm not concerned how it's written up, just glad to finally best eyeballll in a LC. Lost to him 3 times in 4 seasons in the CUST-79 LC.

I stand corrected, I said it was MFN65, it was CUST-79...
