Used to be one of the most effective pass plays.
Yes, QB at a minimum could/should have ran it for the first down but the overall play was set to have a negative result, unfortunately. Even against a run key and a wide open terrain QB. :( |

They wait, engage and all the key routes of beauty are double teamed and locked up with no air space. Late one dinky route comes free for you to hit for the 1st but under pressure the QB renders himself into the sack. Play over. Old code = Devastation for the Defense. More than likely one of those two post routes is hit for significant damage. |
