2 questions:

A). When making a defensive rule, and you want to cover the whole field, do you set LOCATION to Own 0 to Opponent 0?

B). I notice a trend that my opponent passes out of the shotgun 4 wide, but runs a lot out of the single back 4 wide. How can I make a rule that just defends the pass against the shotgun. I can't see how to select formations, just personnel in the rule making menu.

Pretty sure you can't defend formations, just the personnel packages.

To answer question A, yes.

Yes on 0 to 0, no on being able to set defensive rules vs. formations. You can write rules to defend personnel groupings. You can also scout your opponent, see if he only runs on first and second down out of personnel grouping X, and write your rules accordingly.
