The New Orleans Voodoo took some major hits at training camp this year. Two of the biggest losses are the franchise's first two picks in the allocation draft. CBs Ackman and Newton lost 4 and 3 points from their respective overalls. 4th round TE Allen also dropped 3. This left GM/Coach Guido really upset with the scouting department, leading to their mass firing. After the firing, Guido could be heard saying he expects better from the scouting department in avoiding potential busts in the draft. Only time will tell if he was a little to aggressive or if this was just a ploy to get his players to work harder and push to over achieve for a first year championship.
