Depending on your time zone it could be late Wednesday but pay attention to the timer. If you haven't already, start signing players and coaches asap so if you have any questions or problems, someone can help you out before the sim runs.

JDB's Next Trap: End of Draft. Contracts put you over the cap and it either gives you no chance to fix or only to Late FA #1 to not lose your highest salary player(s). Two things: we no longer see cap needed for draft picks and I believe (or training camp) was added to the warning msg after I complained but I don't trust it.

Try to sign one of your players but don't actually sign them. When the contract box pops up, it should show both remaining cap room and remaining cap room for existing contracts or something.
