GG IoanBlood, your teams are always a challenge to play against. You shut down my running game like nobody has all season, yet we still managed to win. Best of luck in free agency/draft.

But if Decicco gets forced into retirement, I will have a big pile of dead cap right when I have a load of draft picks. So it might be meant to be tough on the veterans, but it's tough on people trying to catch up too.

Very belated gg Kebabmaster, your defense was a menace and it should've been a blowout in your favor.

Chasing up confirmation if that's behaviour or not.
I doubt it is for one reason; aging players end of / start of season is a simple task ; you're simply adding 1 to the age of each player in the league, a one-off task.
If it's as smirt claims, then the logic becomes :-
For each sim game week post week 15 for each team in league check if team has players in retirement range randomly sneaky age them
Then the single end of season / start of season general aging task becomes :-
For each player in league if player not already sneakily advanced in age age player
Run retirement script

Had word back from the boss man.
Retirements are decided upon in the end of season stage based on the age and position.
So (my words) it doesn't work as smirt claims.

Retirement % usually kicks in at 10 yrs plus, so no imminent risk for you in Decicco retiring? You've a minimum of 2 seasons to plan for him to retire.
Managing cap and draft picks is part of the game.

GG Panthers. Well planned and well played. Mistake free football almost always wins the day in close games like this one. Best of luck to you in the championship game.

Well duh, if it were safe, everybody would do it. But it just got a whole lot more dangerous. And sour experience has taught me that there is a genuine risk involved.
