I'm not doing game previews but I do have a few thoughts/observations heading into the postseason.
First of all congrats to the Southern California Sun for winning the Pacific Division. The Sun qualify for the post season for just the 3rd time in the 45 season history of the league. The Sun have never been a wildcard so this is also their 3rd division title and their best ever W-L record at 13-3. They finished 10-6 in 1986 and 11-5 in 1988, and have not made it back to the playoffs since...until now. Great job slowtospeak.
Staying in the Pacific, that division had 3 teams win 10+ games but only the Sun qualify for the playoffs. San Jose and Honolulu finished 10-6 but fell 1 game short as it took 11 wins to qualify in the American Conference.
Cleveland won the Midwest Division for the 4th time in history as Legend turned around a team down on it's luck. They made the playoffs in 2009 then won 12 total games over the next 8 seasons before they finished 12-4 last season with a wildcard berth.
The last 2 champions earned the byes, Denver and Pittsburgh.
Georgia made the playoffs for the 8th time, but this is just their 2nd South Division title, first since 1975. Kababmaster went 4-28 the previous 2 seasons but finished 11-5 this season, nice job.
SBPop has turned New York around, making the playoffs for the 3rd time in 4 years including 2 East Division titles after taking over a team that was 12-36 the 3 years prior to taking over.
It should be an interesting post season, although I suspect it will be Pittsburgh vs Denver again. Good luck to those still playing.
