Had to go back to 2002 to find the last season we did not have a 5000 yard passer. San Antonio's George Warner led the league with 4918 yards and 40 TDs. 2009 was the last time nobody threw 40 TD passes.
Portland's Robert Settle led the league in rushing with 1639 yards, besting George Hoffman of Memphis by 164 yards.
Jose Compos (Denver) and James Newkirk (Philadelphia) tied for the league lead with 10 rushing TDs each.
We had 12 runners top 1000 yards and they all scored TDs except Raylan Givens (New Jersey), who had 1001 scoreless rushing yards, with no receiving TDs either. That's not Justified (cheesy TV joke/reference)
We only had 7 receivers top 1000 yards, led by San Antonio's Jessie Anderson, who caught 120 for 1613 yards and 8 TDs. The receptions and yards led the league but it was Jose Berry (Jacksonville) who led the league with 14 TD catches. Berry led the league in yards per catch (25.6) gaining 1512 yards on just 59 receptions.
There were 28 total kick return TDs league wide this season along with 3 punt return TDs.Erin Fuentes of Chicago led the league with 4 kick return scores while Jason Wharton (Tampa) had 2 of the 3 punt return TDs. Neither total is a record as those are 6 and 3 respectively.
Not much to talk about with kickers and punters.
Sacks saw Nathan Explosion (New Jersey) and Richard Fox (Michigan) tie for the league lead with 22 each. Sean Laflamme (Memphis) led the league in hurries with 29 and was second to Fox in sacks + hurries with his 12 sacks making a total of 41. Fox had 20 hurries to go with his 22 sacks.
San Jose's Robert Moreno led the league with 11 INTs. There were a total of 20 Pick Sixes league wide with Boston's Tony Henriquez and San Jose's Adam Chaplin doing it twice.
Oklahoma's Christopher Parker had 45 knockdowns, the most since 2002 when Pittsburgh's James Mueller set the record with 59.
