Single Season Passing Yards Record Broken
by raidergreg69 @ 10/15/2024 7:08 pm
I should have been more on top of this but San Jose QB Myron Dustin shattered the single season passing yards record formerly held by William Hill of the 1980 Portland Storm. Hill threw for 7,803 yards that season while Jerry Ruiz of Michigan had 7,237 the same season as the first 2 to top 7000 yards in one season.

Smirt tried for the record in 2007 when Larry Henderson had 7,083 yards for just the 3rd 7000 yard season until this year.

Myron Dustin finished the year with 8,465 yards, breaking the previous record by 662 yards. Dustin also challenged the all time TD pass mark, becoming the 3rd QB in league history with 60+ TDs while nobody else has more than 56. Don Ferguson of New Jersey broke the record with 64 in 1996, beating the 63 William Hill had in 1980.
