The San Jose SaberCats won 3 games by a combined 8 points to become the 2010 USFL Champs. Two of the wins came in OT while the other was a FG at the end of regulation. As the seasons go by, nobody will remember how narrow the wins were, just that San Jose won the World Bowl.
Speaking of narrow World Bowl wins, this is the 3rd one to be decided in OT. The others were:

San Jose is now 2-0 in the World Bowl while Pittsburgh is now 2-3.
