He is not alone, either. The New York Stars team I am taking over is going to have to release at least 20 players due to cap. The Oklahoma Outlaws that were just vacated are going to have 28 guys hit free agency.
I have about 20 players not worth resigning. It’s gonna be a fun filled off season. I am now optimistic about our near future expectations.

You can try to re-sign your guys at the beginning of next season, if you have the cap space. Of course, everyone else has a shot at them too. But, with how large the free agent pool is likely to be, you may be able to bring back most of them (again, provided you have the cap space).
My team only has about 5 guys that are above 75... Blazers not going anywhere fast. I resigned one guy since he was my #1 WR but the rest are expendable I think... but I'm new so what do I know.
Don't quote me, but I think you can re-sign players right before the year ending SIM and as long as next year's cap is not negative, it will sign those players for you. I saw that somewhere, something like that, but I'll try to find it.
