First, I want to welcome Otterpop and Mcarovil to the USFL/WFL mentoring committee. Both have been in MFN for more than a year now, so they are at least as qualified as me to dispense advice.

Second, I am going to do something different next season. When a coach who is new to MFN joins our league, I am going to immediately assign him to someone from the mentoring committee so that he has a ready resource for advice. I think our guys reaching out to them will be more effective than waiting for the new coach to ask for help. I also think this will help build more affinity for our league among new coaches, which will help lead to even better retention than we are now experiencing.
