I'll write more about it in the Playoff Recaps I'm currently working on but did you guys see HOW Smirt won 38-0? He totally flipped his script, not going for 2 points or 4th downs, not even once. He ran the ball twice as much as he passed, playing into the strength of the Houston defense.

He's been quiet, so I imagine a mad scientist in his lab, concocting game plans and he struck gold with this one.

Great game planning for sure but either way he would have won since I had absolutely no secondary. I used 2 defensive plays all game which would have been torched by the run or pass.

He was winning no matter what he did honestly. I can now relax, put my feet up and enjoy the rest of the postseason. I wasn't a real playoff team.

I saved you a spot at the Out of the Playoffs House. We are right across the street from The Heisman House.

Be there shortly since we packed up before the game.

I'm curious about a couple of things late in the Birmingham/New Orleans game. First, I'm curious about the punt with 1:17 left, as I would think that's a go for it regardless situation, trailing at the end of the game inside 2 minutes.

So given the gift of not having to defend 4th down, New Orleans wants to pass nursing a lead inside the 2 minute warning. Graham gets hurt, cold backup comes in and they're still throwing, essentially giving the game away at this point and stopping the clock for the trailing team with incomplete passes prior to the INT.

Now I realize that both of your teams are better than mine, but I am curious if this was a game engine thing or a settings thing. If it's settings, then perhaps I should change some of mine if unconventional settings gets you 15-1.

No clue why not go for it on fourth down for stallions. Ended up being the right move by coach. I stopped watching this game at 14-0 because our regular season results. Clicked the little text to make results appear and instantly sat through the game.

Dumb luck all around for me. I’m sure legend has his reasons.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

I'm mad, I just realized we don't follow NFL post season OT rules, see my thread here https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/community/1/7539?page=1&x=lpWN6L5H14#45447. In the post season, both teams are supposed to possess the ball and that was not the case in the National Conference Championship.

Maybe I'm over reacting because I've had 2 hours sleep in the last 35 hours but this doesn't sit right with me. It's the playoffs and I feel we should follow NFL playoff rules to the letter. I'm going to get some sleep and see how I feel then but for now I'm not happy.

JDB hasn't changed anything regarding new rules except adding the additional playoff team and 1 bye.

We still play 16 games which is beginning to feel weird too
