Welcome to the start of season 32

We have a brand new season upon us with a new champion and new rules. The New Orleans VooDoo finally won a World Bowl after 5 previous losses, and tonight they will hang their championship banner in The Superdome when they open the season against the NY Stars. We also have some key divisional games Week 1 as Houston plays at Oklahoma, Philadelphia travels to Piscataway, NJ to play the Generals, and San Jose goes to Hawaii for a business trip. Those 3 winners will have an advantage in the divisional race while the losers start behind the 8 ball.

This season marks the end of the no WR at RB rule as now anyone can run the ball. I apologize to those who were against this change, hopefully you'll come around and embrace this rule, or at least tolerate it and use it to your advantage. Sticking to your guns and refusing to have WR run the ball will only hurt your team in the standings.

In fact that goes toward speed in general. That's a common complaint I hear from people, that this game is too speed dependent. While that's likely true, one way to combat teams using a bunch of speed demons is to get some speed on your team. There are seemingly no game code changes coming, so it's either get some roadrunners or become Wile E. Coyote.

As stated elsewhere, the injury slider is now set at 74 as per our vote last season. Best of luck and health to everyone, it's almost time to start The Road to World Bowl XXXII.
