1975 Season

Our defending champion and commissioner at the time tribewriter vacated the Florida Blazers to take over the Georgia Force. I don't recall the exact circumstances but TW would often switch franchises based on what the league needed. He led the Force to a 15-1 record and the #1 seed while Florida fell to 6-10.

The Chicago Blitz earned the #1 seed in the American Conference but neither top seed would make World Bowl II.

In the 1975 post season, the Oakland Invaders were led by the 1-2 rushing punch of Jason Brooks and Christopher Curtis as they had the 2nd BYE then dispatched Portland 36-13. In the Conference Championship they eked out a 9-6 win over future juggernaut Detroit then they handled business against Pittsburgh in World Bowl II 48-7.
