I only presented 2 choices because I feel 1 is too few and 4 is too many games.Obviously if 2 wins, this takes effect next season, not this one.

Poll is closed, thanks for voting. It was already 9-5 in favor of leaving it as is so no point in continuing the vote. In order to eliminate the 3rd preseason game, I was looking for a clear majority, say 9-5 the other way.

So unless 10 people chime in with I was gonna vote for 2 but didn't yet, we are staying with 3.
