Almost time to kick off the 30th season of USFL/WFL football. It's been a wild ride, and I'd like to thank each and everyone here whether this is your first game, been here since the beginning, or something in between. This league wouldn't survive 30 seasons without you guys keeping us full all this time. Every now and then we have an AI team but that doesn't last long.
I had thought about whether to celebrate 30 this season or next, and I decided on next season. We've only completed 29 seasons and it's been holiday season, my busy time at work. I don't know exactly what I have in mind, but I do plan to at least revisit some important moments in league history.
We've had 3 perfect seasons, we've had dynasties, we've had great players, great statistical seasons/games, great team turnarounds and lot's more over the 29 seasons so far.
I'll probably make 2 posts, 1 for my posts only detailing various history, and the other can be a running thread for everyone to share their memories/experiences here and/or to comment on my history posts. I'm only closing comments on the first thread to keep it clean, with historical data/stories only. I'll figure it all out over the course of this season.
Good luck to everyone as we look to dethrone the Pittsburgh Maulers and win World Bowl XXX.
