If this were the regular season, the probables would be playing next game, they aren't hurt that bad. I won't play them in the preseason though, I'll have to figure something out.

The 'Death of the MFN-#' leagues are hugely based upon the 100% injury rate.
You're in that transition between Preseason Game #4 and Regular Season #1 looking down the barrel of a 60 player to 53 player cut + having to sit major chess pieces. In an era when people had many, many teams if you had WR #1 through #3 knocked out to varying degrees of short to long length and you weren't attached to the league ..you'd....I would abandon the league - hit the red button as I'd call it and eject out of the situation aka not worth my time.

I believe my least favorite time in MFN is the transition from the last preseason game to Game #1...you get to drain mental energy before even getting to game planning + the extra bonus (for me) with all the pressure in the world of not going 0-1. LOL
I may even hate cut downs and all the depth chart toggling worse than the 12 coach entry to put bids in...monotony.

Here's how he hurt himself over the years and why the MFN-# leagues faded out...
that 100% injury rate was meant to take out the elite play makers - JDB wanted parity.
I'm a perfectionist and us high level competitors like you and I will take the time out to craft the proper set up. You put hours in - game #1 sims and your WR #2 takes on a Doubtful 8 week injury...Ima hit the board and hit off my f you's at the engine and in a time where I had many teams I'd leave the league immediately due to the disrespect of my time put in - to then get an elite play maker ended. :(
alright, I got my active 46...back to doing my cuts. LOL
