54 is sensational. Division and scheduling are a factor.
Example: If you're in a division with CJ and Blondie giving you sh*t - you won't pull off anything record breaking. You, as in the universal you being anyone. They'll make ones life hard + you're not going to bang out and win over every dice roll, therefore, you get injuries and mired in mud. I don't know if I could ever pull off 54 - AMAZING.
Your division did have two AI teams (I believe) and a Brohl (look at all the pretty colors - whoa!) who is not plugged in like us and is along for the ride.
54 leaves next to no wiggle room. Very, very impressive.
Honestly, I'm not trying to have a shutdown defense. I'm too focused on offense to worry about it and I'm definately not running the ball to control the clock.
It's more a product of luck and catching the right opponent at the right time. 80 points in 11 games with 33 coming to Greg's dynasty and another 30 to Memphis is 2 games....that leaves 17 points in 8 games including 5 shutouts.
It all probably falls apart when I play Oklahoma twice in the final 5 games.

I respect what Wart did and what you're doing.
AG and Private in your division = ****. That's 4 games vs. batters. To come away with 100-120 points allowed would be amazing.
