We are very pleased with our influx of rookies especially on the defensive side of the ball. DE Erik Cross had a very good camp. While fifth round pick FS Paul Gulley had a tremendous one. Never saw that coming. Only major disappointment out of NINE picks was seventh round linebacker Jose Lopez. A smaller disappointment was CB James Turner who we were hoping would shore up our weakest position. He will still make the team though. Altogether EIGHT rookies will probably make the team. A very good three days of work. No standouts buf five very solid picks. Barker at center. Golden at linebacker and Jensen at running back joining Cross and Gulley.
