Welcome everyone to the 26th season of USFL/WFL football. In the pop culture calendar, this is the year of Prince. My Generals sure partied like it's 1999 before, during, and after their parade in scenic downtown Piscataway, New Jersey in celebration of their World Bowl victory. At least Don Ferguson didn't almost throw the trophy in the water like Tom Brady did.

I always worry about end of season spins. How many openings will we have and can I fill them. 4.6 is scaring away some people but luckily there are plenty of people still playing that we filled our most recent openings very quickly.

Free agency starts tonight and like usual, there is scarce young talent available. You'll pretty much need to sign a 10+ year vet if you want to fill holes before the draft. We also have some new owners who seem willing to trade, so that's another avenue to fill holes.

Well we are almost done with day 3 of the draft and Qwex is doing his best hkpman impression by acquiring a ton of draft capital. He has 22 picks in the last 3 rounds, including 10 5th round picks. Qwex has a big day ahead of him tomorrow.

Smirt did what Smirt does, signed a couple big ticket players and traded away his top draft picks, going a completely opposite direction for his franchise.

Given how JDB has screwed recent drafts, both strategies could work, as surely Qwex can find some diamonds in the rough with all of those late round flyers while the early rounds are full of risky, high volatility skill players and 1 viable QB.

I was concerned about not picking until the end of round 3, but given how bad my recent drafts have been in other leagues (has a 2 player draft in D&D, they combined for -54...yes minus fifty four points) I'm over it.

Already have my players named for this draft as well. It's 1999 and that year saw the debut of Family Guy, The Sopranos and Futurama. I drafted an OL (Peter Griffin) and a DE (Tony Soprano) and those characters are either fat or just a bigger dude so that was easy. I deliver pizza, as did Philip J. Fry before he was frozen and he's a skinny character, so he's my WR.

Looks like Qwex traded his team out of cap trouble and he has 29 picks the next 2 drafts. Curious how all of the wheeling and dealing turns out for Pittsburgh over the next 3 seasons.

It's our night to match up I guess, we face off in XFL too. It's only preseason, so starters will just play a half, and some "starters" aren't actually starters, just putting them in first to see what they can do.

I was surprised I drew you but misconception about me - I look at quality of GM/owner and I view every game as a battle with JDB. It's always been more about him than who I face except how I rate the win difficulty degree level.

I've had age 30, experience: 8 WRs and RBs before (when they should be 29) and now I'm onto his new scheme. smh I hyped to get to my O over-rides so that I can out-fox him and shove Icenhour in his face.
