Wow on the number of high volatility players going early in the draft. There are gamblers out there, and not just in Houston. I think Tampa Bay's WR is the best, and safest, pick so far.

Agree he almost fell to me but its hard to pass up on what could be a big time play maker

Oh he wasn't getting past #3. I was all set on taking the MLB. Part of the reason I traded my LB for a 2nd rd pick. I'm not complaining though. I was taking either WR.

I'm having a difficult time deciding which 2nd round talent I'm going to draft in the 1st round. Need guards badly but the top 2 are slightly volatile and look like bust candidates. There are a couple of DL at the top of the class but that's my deepest position in terms of talent.

There is an upgrade at WR available, also RB though neither would start right away. Tight ends? They're there, waiting to be drafted but they'll have to stay in the green room a little longer.

DB's? Wasn't much talent at the start of the draft and it's already thinned out.

This draft is giving us lemons, but I'm gonna try to make lemonade out of whomever I draft.

On the clock now, decided to take CB Trapp over WR Doyle. With most contracts expiring at season's end, I want to head into year 3 with at least one DB under contract. Coupled with the steep drop off in talent in the secondary and it was an easy decision.

Hopefully we'll get some boom for our buck in this volatile draft.

You can always take a Kicker. I think that is boogers philosophy

I need one too, Roger Ruzich wasn't all that great for me in 1974.

Add me to the list of gamblers. Tossed a coin on a superstar DE or the water carrier. The potential upside was too much to pass over as the low volatility players picking 17th were uninspiring (for a 1st rounder). Happy for no boom or bust but it was a late choice to gamble as I had my eyes on a DB. Roll on train camp but time for a nap now as no 2nd round pick!
Hope everyone gets what they want. Perhaps retrain a K?

I was hoping he would slide into the 2nd...
