I rarely if ever watched games in 4.5 in the past 18 months but since the switch to 4.6, I've found watching the games has helped me understand the new version better.
Rarely do you see passes over 20 yards and passes over 30 yards are as rare as a unicorn. You need every bit of 3 downs to get 1st downs and if you don't have a 4th and short rule...you are screwed....there are so many 4th and 1 or 2 plays where I see punts but if you want any chance...make a rule to go for it...even in your own territory (within reason).
This watching games will go away just like it did with 4.5 eventually but for now it helps with my gameplanning.
I try to watch all my games regardless of how competitive my team is. In 4.5 it was to help me gameplan, but now it's to help me attempt to sort what's good and what isn't. Data helps but I also want to see what's actually going on and double checking that my rules are working how I want

GG Cleveland. Not how we wanted to enter the playoffs
I'm not sure what happened. I didn't really want that win for my draft status!

Good game X3/New Orleans, congratulations on making the playoffs. We didn't play particularly well but we advanced, so I'm happy with that.

GG Memphis. Can't believe all the mistakes in that game for both teams. Glad the Showboats made a few more than the Storm
I'm doing the blog and just noticed my next opponent shut down the Pittsburgh running game. If Shreveport can stop our running game, Ferguson might give them some INTs for a possible upset.
