The New York Stars QB broke the regular season record for TD passes in a game by throwing 11 against Philadelphia Week 15 and he came within 38 yards of breaking the single game yardage total, which is 836 by Georgia's Les Lacy in 1980. Five QBs previously threw 10 in a regular season game with Georgia's Augustin Crook doing it first in 1977 and Jon Snow doing it most recently last season.

We have had 11 TD passes in a playoff game before. Birmingham's David Schmitt threw for 796 yards and 11 TDs in a 79-19 win over New Jersey during the 1985 playoffs.
