Good game Shreveport/Loftusranger, Don Ferguson and our offense were on fire from the 2nd quarter on. I think the switch to 4.6 next season will level the playing field a bit as I won't be able to just outscore people with all my weapons.

Good game cj....you kicked our ****....good luck the rest of the way.
Geez...if Plummer's throwing 5 ints and getting sacked 6 times in 4.5...he's never going to survive in 4.6.

Just checked the game...and yeah that was a rough outing for the QB!!!
I know this is just a game/sim but can you imagine the talk on T.V., radio and podcasts about Plummer's performance??
You had a fantastic season and I'm sorry it ended like that...good luck as we head into mostly uncharted territory with 4.6

Interesting matchups in both CC's tonight. First of all we are guaranteed to have two previous World Bowl winners face off as we have 6 time champion Houston at 1 time champion Denver in one game, while the first World Bowl winner, Florida travels to face 2 time champs New Jersey.
Houston is known as an offensive juggernaut and they still are that but the Gamblers bring some D too. Houston has the #7 defense, a ranking they haven't seen since their 6th ranked D of 1991. Denver is equally as good on both sides of the ball, sporting the league's best defense. The Gold won their first World Bowl 4 years ago and have been battling with Houston and Portland for conference championships ever since.
In the National Conference, we have opposite approaches. Florida is a run first team as Robert Romero had a 1,500 yard season to lead the league and they also have an efficient passing game. Willie Graham doesn't fill the air with footballs like his counterpart Don Ferguson, but Graham had 27 TD passes to just 8 INTs, tied for the lowest amount among QBs with 300+ attempts. On the other sideline are the New Jersey Generals and Don Ferguson, the league's leading passer. In 3 previous CC games, Don Ferguson has not played well. Is that because he faced his old team Washington? Or is it because he chokes under pressure?
Three of the four teams left had a first round BYE, showing the importance of the BYE week in January. Next season should be interesting as I'm pretty sure we are going to 7 playoff teams and 1 BYE per conference with version 4.6. I could be wrong so don't quote me on that yet.
Blog is almost finished btw, just 1 more game to write about. Got sidetracked yesterday watching my concrete driveway being poured. I've been wanting to have this done ever since I bought this place over 3 years ago.
Congrats on the win Houston/CJ - keep the championship in the conference on the top half!
It is tough for good things to happen when you decidedly lose the categories of turnovers, penalties, and 1st downs by penalty. Too much to overcome with a team like the Gamblers.
**** of a game VCR!!! Felt like a real playoff game with a late comeback to tie the game and a quick under 2 minute drive to set up a 56 yard game winning fieldgoal as time expires.
Your Denver team is always a tough matchup and the game could have gone either way!
Good season tjbevill, this game though, not so good from your perspective. I'm surprised by the final margin, I thought we might go down to the wire. Your team should handle the transition to 4.6 well, best of luck in the offseason.
