I'm just so relieved it didn't impact the result of the game.
I'm never changing my player weights during the season again...it's been a nightmare in the 3 of my 6 leagues that had already started playing games.
Fair enough, I'm at the mercy of the owners in the league...I will accept any penalty the owners feel is warranted for unintentionally violating the rule.
I pride myself on trying to play this game the right way as much as possible. I truly dislike the owners that lean into "exploit ball" and I've been very vocal for many years about the punt block exploit.
Unintentional or not, rules are rules and I will let my fate be decided by the owners in this league.
For those of you who do not already know, CJ runs 2 leagues with way more rules than we have here, GM Football League and GM Football League II. There is no way this was intentional and in my mind, that goes a long way in deciding what to do.
The punishment for an intentional violation is the loss of your team, and that is off the table in this case. I never set up punishments for unintentional violations, perhaps I should have. I didn't, so here we are.
I used the draft pick thing in the poll because CJ brought it up in his apology post, and that's what he uses in GM League for repeated roster violations.
I have my opinions on this case and I just want to hear from the league about their opinions.
good game outlaws, was a bd week for our defence again as we got shredded good luck for rest of season

From my point of view, with regards CJ - if it's first offence it's a warning to 'cease and desist' any second offence would be a final warning (unless in a playoff game, when it would be immediate expulsion).
Great game Crazy Razor, my Defense deserved more out of the game. They literally ran themselves into the ground. The stats won't show it, but to a man they were superb.
The O showed flashes of what they can do but could not sustain drives and kept coming up just short of field goal range.
Maybe the Feds were resting players, but they didn't look like a 12-1 team?

Since it was a first-time offense and he made a point to apologize for an unintentional oversight, I'm all for letting it be just a warning and nothing more. I could see if it was intentional, but it wasn't, and that's alright with me. Play ball...

I don't watch my games. I haven't for a long time. I have no idea how they look.
3 INT's says a lot about your D, though. :)

I see Greg fell for the 'ole "slippery ball" routine last night.
We'll do anything it takes to win in Memphis.

Good game, we're settled at #3 so at this point I just want health, especially at RB.
