It was brought to my attention after preseason game 1 that San Jose had a DB in the punt block formation illegally. I checked, and even though the player in question, #24, is listed as ST Rusher #9, there he was on the front 4. He even blocked a punt for a TD in that game. That can't happen.
It's only preseason, so I sent pronfl51 a PM asking him to remove all DBs from ST Rusher. That did not happen for preseason game 2, as #24 still showed up on the front 4. Now if this were all there was to it, I'd probably just send another PM, then boot him after preseason game 3.
If I do that though, the AI will make the cuts, and by doing it now, I have time to find someone before games start for real.
Additionally, I dug into last season's games for San Jose and saw this in the playoff game they lost to Portland.
As you can see, #34 and #24 are illegal. Dude has to go.
