I had a list of 21 RBs that I compared their combined rushing/receiving stats and I only want 8-10 on the actual ballot. If I did it strictly by total combined yards (not counting kick/punt return yards), the #3 and #4 rusher would not make the cut. That didn't seem right to me, so I put some emphasis on the running part.
I reserve the right to change my mind between now and when I send the ballot out, but as of now, the RB ballot will be the Top 7 rushers plus Orville Barker and Chris Goldberg.
IMO the 4 biggest snubs (next 4 on my list) were Robert Romero, Ben Dehaven, Thomas Thomas and Donald Turner. Usually all 1,000 yard rushers make it, but not this season as Francis Schultz and Bobby Colley found out.
Also snubbed are Tyron Bailey (1179 combined yards, 5 TD), Sam Beckett (1409-9), Jose Moses (1351-6), James Dunn (1217-10), and David Koresh (1354-8). Rounding out the list is Charlie Shanks (1051-2).
