Christmas Break
by raidergreg69 @ 12/17/2020 9:32 pm
Letting everyone know I'll be delaying our league 2 days over Christmas Eve/Christmas. The sim scheduled for 12:49 am eastern on the 24th will proceed as normal and we will resume 2 days later.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkhah, Feliz Navidad, etc.

I'm actually doing Christmas tonight because me, my brother, and my sister in law all work non traditional hours and tonight works best for us. I'll be working on the 24th and 25th by choice because the money is pretty good and we get a cash bonus if we work both nights.

The old after presents large pizza order. Just like my family used to do. :)

Happy holidays folks.

Yeah, a pizza guy told me Christmas evening is one of their busiest evenings of the year.

New Year's Eve is the busiest night, followed by the night before Thanksgiving. Christmas is still busy, but mainly because some stores don't open that day.

Interesting.....I can honestly say in my 53 years.....Ive never ordered pizza on Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years Eve.....Never even considered it really!

Thanksgiving is all about leftovers....Christmas was always Ham and New Years has always been pounds and pounds of steamed shrimp!

The day before Thanksgiving, in a normal year, everyone is starting a 4 day weekend, so party on dude. Our customer base leans heavily toward partiers, and even your average family is busy prepping the family meal so they're ordering out the night before. Thanksgiving night, we open at 4 instead of 11, and we get a little dinner rush, mostly from younger people. Late night (we are open until 4 am Thursdays) we have more partiers and people getting ready for Black Friday shopping.
