We didn't have any monumental records broken but we did have some.

60 YD FG Brett Curley Pittsburgh In Week 4, Curley nailed a 60 yard FG, tying the record held by Gary Spence (Cleveland) and Donald Dosch (Portland)

48.8 Punt Avg Glenn Cannon Oakland Cannon's gross average of 48.8 per punt nips the 48.7 of Cleveland's Dan Carr in 1979. That same year, Garland Hubler of Washington punted 22 times for a 50.3 average, but he only punted in the last 4 games of the season after taking the job from veteran George Hill.

717 Run Blocks Roger Norwood Oklahoma The previous record was 706, set all the way back in 1975 by Chicago's Ronald Stanfill.

Single Game Records

9 Knockdowns Robert Skinner Honolulu Skinner had 9 knockdowns in the Hawaiians home game vs Los Angeles to tie a record held by many players.

3 Forced Fumbles Thomas McDonald Arizona McDonald had 3 forced fumbles in a game at Oakland, tying a record held by many players.
