Good game Generals/rg.....a descisive victory and a little playoff revenge to boot.
Good luck the rest of the way!
Good game Wolveraider, that's now 2 unexpected playoff victories for me. We lost 5 of 6 down the stretch and I had zero confidence in my team heading into Wildcard Weekend. Smirt is tough to beat when your team is playing well, and my team wasn't so that victory was a surprise. Then I get your team, so I'm thinking we're getting bounced here, given 79-19 and our OT loss to you earlier this season.
My plan would have sustained the good start we had against you by maintaining enough of a lead if my limited, current cast on offense wasn't wounded coming in. Defense would have kicked in enough to hold you off for the win. I know you caught that interception begetting into the touchdown scenario, however, as the game wore on I believe I took on another play maker injury and the sim overwhelmed us enough to lose. I wasn't getting deep with this crew any way but I definitely didn't strat a loss.
Good game, Michigan. You guys ran the ball better than anybody we faced all year, and you shut down the donut mogul. I'm glad this one was a little more exciting than the regular season matchup.
Good luck Baltimore, Southern California, and even though they don't need luck, Memphis. I've just finished redoing my game plan and if we're going to win, we need the USFL's all time leading post season rusher Rudi Johnson to have a big game. We only have 1 healthy TE on the roster, poor job by the GM on that one.
