1986 Hall of Fame Nominees

Please post any recently retired players you think should be on the Hall of Fame Ballot.

New Jersey's only retirement was a coach so we have no nominees. I will continue to advocate for former General Mike Williams to get more votes, he's a Hall of Famer imo.

I have no feelings for this guy, who signed a one-year min contract and was benched after a miserable opening day performance. However, his career numbers suggest Cleveland fans will care about him: https://usflwfl.myfootballnow.com/player/1243

The Thunderbolt organization appreciates your nomination.

Only Retirement for the NY Stars is LB-Eric Bigham .

Bigham is the 2nd all time leader in tackles for the NY Stars with 636 Tackles. Not sure he's HOF worthy but he's going to be missed here in New York.

Going through the retirements team by team, done with the Pacific Division.

Honolulu listed the 2 players I would consider.

QB Mario Valencia retired, he played for Jax/Det/Hou/LA

LA also had 2 OL retire that might be worthy: Leonardo Pittman and Tom Campbell

Don't bother looking at us there's no one HOF worthy

West Division

Portland- MLB Jeff Melton, CB John Borkowski

Arizona WR Cory Robinzine LG Kenneth Kurtz

Oakland TE Leroy Selmon LDE Elton Engler

I looked up the stats of my former TE Selmon and was surprised he's like the best TE ever in USFL up to now. He retires #2 in all time receptions for a TE (#1 Jacob Scully Okl) and #1 in yards and TD catches.

Southwest

Oklahoma QB Tony Smith LDE Joe Braatz

Memphis named their retiree and I didn't see any possible nominations from Houston or San Antonio. I did see my former LB Jim Leclair retired and I would love to add him to the list but his career numbers say he was just pretty good.
