Here are the players who will be on the ballot for the 1984 All-Pro team. If you wish to nominate another player, please reply below.

A couple notes about this—first, make sure the players you nominate fit into the statistical ranges of those already listed. I compile this list using the first few leaders in categories pertaining to that position. If your QB isn't among the leaders in passing yards, TDs, and QBR, you won't see him on this list (and your fellow coaches probably aren't going to vote for him). So, please, only legitimate additions. Our goal isn't to make the ballot as long as possible, just to include the most deserving players.

I am sure there are more accurate ways to do this. But I can only devote a limited amount of time to research. Again, if you feel another player is more deserving than those nominated, please elaborate below.

For the kick returners, the NFL qualifying standard is 20 returns per season. But, for whatever reason, we only had two players with more than 20 returns. So I dropped down that qualifying number a bit.

I would like to throw in LB Phillip Williamson into the ballot he totaled 101 tackles and 7 INT

LT Don "Donkey" Kong had a similar stat line as Niehaus, who was nominated.

Kong's stat line: 1216 plays, 1 sack allowed, 764 pass block/563 run block and only 1 penalty compared to Niehaus's 6.

Side note about Bob Marley, he is still just a part time player. This year he had his 7 INT on just 41 passes thrown his way and the last 3 years has 24 INT in just 147 passes.

I only went as far down the stats as 1,288 plays. We can certainly add Kong to the ballot before it comes out.

My bad for not including Lambert on the original list. He is definitely deserving of serious consideration. Next season, I will remember to check the total yardage leaders as well when compiling RB and WR.

I will be interested to see how the RB voting goes between Corey True, DEN; Mark Peterson, BIR; and Lambert. I am seriously thinking of adding a WR/RB or RB/WR slot to our All-Pro team, since that seems to be the direction MFN is going.
