Multiple leagues I get. Especially the ones that aren’t nearly full.

Two teams in the same league is counter productive for the reasons stated above.

In the case of running more than one and winning is the most important thing. Have one owner take 16 teams in a conference and play against 16 different owners in the other conference, that way they would always *have a team in the championship and have a 50% chance of wining it all every season.
