The Taco man (offensivetaco) is the new GM of the defending world champs.
“I hope I don’t screw the pooch on this playoff caliber team, it’s often I become owner of train wrecks and fix em up, this team, on the contrary is something new to me!”
The Houston Gamblers have won the 1984 & 1985 World Bowl and seem poised to sustain a long run of success in the USFL behind a trio of young players on offense.
Follow us through the years as we track the trio's accomplishments and where they rank alltime in USFL history.
QB TONY DEAN
He is entering his 4th season and 3rd as starter after winning a title in his first two years as starter.
It helps that he has one of the greatest offensive minds coaching him so he can reach his ultimate potential. A career 24.3 yards per reception and 93 TDs!

Wait ... he's only had 68 TDs since his rookie year? ;)
I would have kept that Houston Gamblers team a long time if Brexit wouldn't have happened.

WR Gabriel Ahrens has 98 career TD receptions and is closing in on the USFL alltime record of 100. The amazing statistic is that he is tied with WR Michael Popa and 2 behind WR Cory Robinzine despite having only 353 career receptions to their 853 and 835 respectively.
Besides Tony "MVP" Dean, very few Gambler players find individual accolades because of the offensive strategy to spread the ball around and use all the skill position players in the offense.
