Having weapons to throw to makes a huge difference when the QB has deficiencies in those ratings, and arm strength and speed might be needed as well...along with a playbook isolating mis matches
Nailed it. I'm just working with what's available.
Robert Gill
https://tri-state-league.myfootballnow.com/player/2905. He's done OK for allocation year. Not really my kind of QB. If I can get someone better by my weights, I'll take him.
Primary - Pass Accuracy
Secondary (in order) - Look Off Defense, Intelligence, Field of Vision, Arm Strength, Discipline, Pass Release
Nice to have - Avoid Fumble, Break Tackle, Ball Carry
Statistical non-factors in this release (in order, but I weight at 1 just so I see them on the card) - Speed, Hard Count, Scrambling, Strength, Acceleration
Would I prefer to have a mobile, shoot-on the-move while holding off defenders with his bad breath QB? Of course! It just doesn't make any significant difference in results right now.
High intelligence is critical when drafting, it's not going to change.
The nice to have ratings may be ranked higher than non-factor ratings simply because the QBs I analyzed to develop weights tended to be at the top of their game, they had some time to develop those numbers.
