Things that have been tumbling around in the synapses....
I want to try and put together a thread with only links that provide direct help to new MFN'ers. EG: ST set up, 4.5 weights, basic off and d game planning etc type stuff that is not stickied but key spread through pout the forums.
Pretty much every thing important expanded upon by the MFN community discussed and/or not explored by setherick (dude did do some great things).
Maintain, discuss, and develop ideas for simple solutions for "bugs" to present to JDB, specifically player experience.
Persue ideas for ease of use over multiple platforms.
Develop a marketing concept that can be afforded based on current monies and/or donations from the player base. So, we'd need folks that also have experience there.
Last, I would like to establish a "team" of dedicated, knowledgeable GMs onot involved in beta, that are willing to work on new weights, explore or write about topics (zone progress through versions - deep stuff nerds like me and you get off on) to fill the gap and provide "refined" and "objective" information about basic and deep game play concepts as MFN develops.
I know some of you are curious and interested about these ideas - i sure hope so, any ways :P
Let's go "grass roots" and maintain a base for noobs to not get lost, xperienced GMs to grow, yaddas.
I hope some folks out there are willing to form a MFN "think tank." Please PM, will go from there based on interest.
There are many "niches" a person can fit into, and this would be a multi-tentacled group, hopefully focusing our talents into specific pools of development and player retention ($).
A person with actual project management experience in internet development/strategies willing to donate time, experience, and guidance would be useful.
Hit me up via PM, if there is enough interest, I will start a Discord room for discussion about structure for success.
Serious interests only, please. If you think you have the time.... RL first.
Thx gang.
